The HOWO 8X4 Concrete Mixer Truck (manufactured by Sinotruk) is a heavy-duty powerhouse designed for large-scale construction projects.
Main purpose of a concrete mixer truck：Transport and mix fresh concrete continuously, prevent concrete from solidifying during transportation, and deliver ready-mixed concrete to construction sites.
Mixing System Features
High-Strength Drum: Built with wear-resistant steel and double logarithmic spiral blades to ensure uniform mixing and faster discharge (usually >2m³/min).
Hydraulic System: Typically uses top-tier components (like Eaton, Rexroth, or ZF pumps and motors) for precise rotation control and reliability under load.
Water Tank: Usually equipped with a 400L to 600L pressurized water tank for cleaning the drum and chutes after delivery.
Performance & Design
Stability: The 8X4 chassis offers a much lower center of gravity compared to smaller trucks, which is critical when transporting up to 16 cubic meters of "liquid" concrete that shifts during turns.
Cab Comfort: The modern HW76 cabs feature air-conditioned interiors, air-suspension seats, and often a single sleeper bunk for drivers on long shifts.
